While there aren’t any ziplines in the city of Cincinnati, there are several ziplines in the area. You can find world-class ziplines within 33 minutes of the city, but some exciting lines require a longer drive. The layout of Cincinnati isn’t conducive to ziplining, but surrounding areas like Oregonia, Ohio, and Petersburg, Kentucky, are perfect for it.
3 Best Ziplines Near Cincinnati
1. Ozone Zipline Adventures at Kamp Kern
It takes 49 minutes to drive from Cincinnati, Ohio to Ozone Zipline Adventures in Oregonia. Ozone Zipline Adventures gives thrill seekers the chance to zip across the Little Miami River and cool off while having fun. Located at the YMCA Kamp Kern, Ozone Zipline Adventures features 6 impressive ziplines.
You and a group of up to 9 other people will zip across lines as long as 1,300 feet. The shortest zipline you will encounter is 600 feet long, and you can reach heights of 200 feet. While the platforms are only 20-50 feet, your journey will take you over large drop-offs that greatly increase your height. They have backup breaks, but gravity will typically slow you down as you reach the end of the line.
Part of what makes this zipline tour so special is that it’s also educational. Your guide will inform you about local history, environmental issues, and the history of the area’s indigenous people. Admission costs $49 per person, and the experience lasts 2-3 hours.
2. Screaming Raptor Zip Lines at the Creation Museum
Screaming Raptor Zip Lines at the Creation Museum may not be in Ohio, but it’s one of the best ziplines near Cincinnati. It’s in Petersburg, Kentucky which is a 33-minute drive from Cincinnati. The short drive is worth every minute when you consider the variety of ziplines and aerial obstacles they offer.
Screaming Raptor offers 5 levels of zipline courses that vary in extremity, difficulty, length, and duration. The first tier takes an hour, includes 5 ziplines, costs $49, and features a 660-foot zipline. You can also have a blast with the second tier which costs $69 and includes 9 ziplines.
The third and fourth tiers cost $99 and $129 per person, respectively, and take 3-4 hours to complete. Extreme thrill seekers must try the fifth tier which takes up to 5 hours and lets you choose between any of the ziplines and aerial obstacles at the park for $169 per person. The adult aerial obstacle course is also a blast and costs $49.
I recommend trying the Dragon’s Descent free fall which drops guests from a height of four stories. Make your way to the top of the tower, strap into your harness, and let gravity do the rest of the work for you! You get to jump twice during this 30-minute experience. The free fall costs $18 per person, and I can’t recommend it enough after you complete the zipline course.
3. Zipline Safari at The Wilds
Cumberland, Ohio is a 2 hour and 50-minute drive from Cincinnati, but it’s worth the time if you’re a thrill seeker. The Zipline Safari at The Wilds makes you feel like you are in a different country as you zip over animals as they eat and drink water. You will even encounter giraffes, which is enough on its own to make the tour worth your time and money.
The main zipline tour takes 2 ½ hours to complete and includes 10 ziplines. It costs $99 per person, but you can experience the course for just $79 if you’re a member of The Wilds. The highlight of this course is the 760-foot zipline.
They also offer the Zipline Overlook Tour which lasts 1 ½ hours and includes 5 ziplines. This is a great option if you don’t want to give up too much of your time. It costs $59 for members and $69 for non-members.
However, I recommend checking out the Zipline Sunset Tour more than anything. You get to experience the main course but with the backdrop of the sunset for $79-$99. The Howl at the Moon tour is the most extreme option, and it costs $79 per person whether you have a membership or not. The course is the same, but it takes place at night, which adds a new layer of extremity.
How Much Does Ziplining Cost In Cincinnati?
It costs an average of $81 to go ziplining in Cincinnati. With that said, you can find ziplines in the area for as little as $49 per person at Ozone Zipline Adventures. Many places offer tiers that go up in cost based on how many ziplines they include and how long the experience lasts.

Full Throttle Adrenaline Park is a one-stop shop for thrill seekers. They feature go-karts, a rage room, paintball, VR experiences, and more that are sure to give you a quick adrenaline rush. Full Throttle Adrenaline Park also features axe-throwing lanes that offer the perfect group activity for your family and friends.
The go-karts are the biggest attraction at the indoor park, and each race lasts 6 minutes. You can book one race for $25, but I recommend the 3-race package which costs $59 and offers the best value. Guests can also immerse themselves in a 7-minute VR experience that puts them into an exciting world for $20 per session, or $41 for 3 sessions.
The rage room is my favorite attraction at Full Throttle Adrenaline Park because of how extreme it is. Up to 4 guests at a time can take out their rage and destroy smashable objects in a safe environment. The basic package costs $25 per person, but the most exciting option includes the basic smashable items as well as a TV for $75.
You can also book axe-throwing lanes for $20 per person per hour. Full Throttle Adrenaline Park is in Florence, Kentucky which is just 19 minutes from Cincinnati, and it’s worth the drive.
Breakout Games
Breakout Games is home to the best escape rooms in Cincinnati. They have two locations in the city: one in West Chester, and one in Hyde Park. Tickets start at $90 for two players, and the price per player goes down with each player you add to the game. For example, you can book a room with 5 players for $150.
You get to choose between 7 unique escape rooms that each have different themes. Themes include everything from diffusing bombs to escaping an island, and each is unique. Guests have an hour to examine the environment, follow the story, gather clues, and solve puzzles to escape the room.
Kings Island
Kings Island is one of the top-rated theme parks in the Midwest, and it’s right by Cincinnati. Located in Mason, Ohio, it only takes 40 minutes to drive to Kings Island from Cincinnati. Kings Island features 49 rollercoasters, and that includes 14 thrilling rollercoasters.
The Orion, Diamondback, Bat, and Banshee are the most extreme rollercoasters at Kings Island. Guests will fly as fast as 91 miles per hour and reach a peak height of 287 feet on the Orion ride. Between the drops and inversions, each of these rollercoasters is sure to wake you up and provide an adrenaline rush.
I also recommend visiting the Soak City Water Park at Kings Island on hot summer days. They have 36 water slides and 14 other fun, less extreme water attractions. Admission to the theme park and water park costs just $45 per person. That’s a great deal considering most theme parks sell tickets to the water park separately.
