The combined weight for a tandem jump is 240 kg (529 lbs.). However, a jumper should weigh at most 220 pounds. The harness needs to be able to fit correctly and cannot be too tight.

Has there Ever Been an Accident at Cairns Bungy Jump?
To date, there has not been a documented injury or death on the Cairns Bungy Jump other than the usual scrapes or sore muscles that one ends up with after leaping off the platform.

Once you drop, you’ll freefall down and swing over the canyon. There’s nothing quite like it. However, if the wind makes it hard to breathe, feel free to bring a nose and mouth shield, so the wind isn’t quite so in your face.

The hardest part for a lot of people is going backward. When you’re skydiving or bungy jumping, you don’t typically fall back; with the swing, you feel the G-force and get an intense stomach-drop feeling.
