Go Ape Zipline Cleveland is widely considered one of the best ziplining chains in the world, and the Cleveland location is no exception. This location is situated in the beautiful Mill Stream Run Reservation, where there are hiking trails, horseback riding, and more! Go Ape offers a number of activities, and ziplining+ropes coure is one of the most popular option.
While they offer several packages, it’s the Treetop Adventure that Go Ape Zipline is best known for. During this adventure you will embark on a 2-3-hour journey through the trees with 40 different obstacles, including a zipline that spans 560 feet. This will get rid of that zipline itch! This is the most thrilling package, and you will take off from platforms as tall as 50 feet above the ground. Don’t worry; you are harnessed in and connected at all times.
Adults can embark on the Treetop Adventure for $62, while admission is $57 for children ages 10-15. Go Ape also offers a shorter, 60-90-minute version of the Treetop Adventure for $42 for all ages.
The Treetop Journey experience lasts an hour and features 25 obstacles, including a 200-foot-long zipline. This package costs $35 for all ages, and it’s a good alternative to the Treetop Adventure if you don’t have much experience with heights and ziplining. If that’s not enough, they also offer axe throwing and a unique Forest Escape game that includes problem-solving games in an immersive outdoor natural environment.
2. Lake Erie Canopy Tours
Location: 4888 N Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041, United States
If you don’t mind driving 50 minutes to Geneva, Ohio from Cleveland, then you must check out Lake Erie Canopy Tours located at The Lodge at Genova-on-the-Lake. It is the largest aerial attraction east of Cleveland! Lake Erie Canopy Tour is home to 8 stunning ziplines and towers as tall as 60 feet. You can soar as fast as 30 miles per hour, and the park brings a unique competitive edge with side-by-side ziplines.
The views of Lake Erie’s shore and smaller waterways add a unique vibe to the experience that you will not forget.
You have several packages to choose from: The Zipline Canopy Tour, the Adventure Course, and the Kids Course.
The best option is to mix and match the Zipline Canopy Tour & Adventure Course Tour. This offer includes 8 ziplines and access to the Adventure Climbing Course for total of $139 on weekdays and $149 per person on weekends. Access 30 ropes challenges and many aerial obstacles! You will be climbing and hanging on as you test your limits on easy to extremely difficult obstacles.
You can also experience the Half Zipline Tour at night on Saturdays for $89 per person.
Children ages 4-10 can have fun as well on the Kids Course, it costs $29-$39 on weekdays and weekends, respectively. This tour gives kids access to the Landlubber’s Loop course for an hour and a short zipline too.
3. Eagle Zip Adventure
Location: Unnamed Road, Cleveland, OH 44109, United States
This zipline style ride called the Eagle Zip Adventure is a popular attraction directly located in the city of Cleveland at the Metroparks Zoo and Waterfowl Lake. This ride is actually quite popular, it is not your standard zipline experience. It is a double-seater chair that you sit in, wear a seatbelt, and it pulls you up a cable and then releases you from the top.
You reach 150 feet in total height above the zoo, where you pause for a brief moment; this allows you to take in the views of the water beneath you, all the lush trees, and everything else in the distance.
Once released, you are sent down 739 feet in length for a nice, thrilling ride at 35 miles per hour. You need to be 4 feet tall to go alone or 3.5 feet to go along with an adult. It is $9 to ride the Eagle Zip Adventure in addition to your zoo fee, pick up these tickets at the Circle for Wildlife Carousel at the 4D theatre.
This is the only zipline-style attraction situated right in the city of Cleveland, making it a perfect choice if you don’t have the time to hit the road.
4. Common Ground Zipline Canopy Tours
Location: 14240 Baird Rd, Oberlin, OH 44074, United States
Oberlin, Ohio is a short 40-minute drive from Cleveland, and it is home to some of the best ziplining tours in the state. Common Ground Zipline Canopy Tours is one of the most comprehensive ziplining experiences in Ohio as the adventure lasts 2 ½ hours. You will find yourself 75 feet above the Vermilion River at the highest point of the ziplining tour.
The longest zipline at Common Ground Zipline Canopy Tours measures 850 feet long; that’s enough to get your heart racing! Plus, you will be reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour, which is enough to get your adrenaline pumping too.
With a combined length of 2,500 feet among 7 ziplines ranging from 50 feet to 850 feet, you get plenty of bang for your buck. The Canopy Tour costs $89 on weekdays and $94 on weekends for adults. Admission for children ages 10-17 is $79 on weekdays and $84 on weekends.
Before you embark on your adventure, you must attend a 30-minute class where on-site instructors will prepare you for the day. Common Ground Zipline Canopy Tours also offers an exciting Tree Climbing Adventure where you can test your physical limits with your friends.

Location: 3045 & 3058 St Rt 3 South, Loudonville, OH 44842
Look no further than Mohican Adventures Aerial Adventure Park for the most unique ziplining experience near Cleveland. Located in Loudonville, Ohio, it takes roughly 1 hour and 25 minutes to visit the Aerial Adventure Park from Cleveland. The Aerial Adventure Park features ziplines, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
Set up like a massive aerial playground, the Aerial Adventure Park is separated into tiers based on time and obstacles. The first tier costs $32 per person and gives you access to the Green and Blue courses for an hour. You will traverse suspension bridges, rock walls, ropes courses, ziplines, canoes, and kayaks.
However, I recommend the 2-hour course, which costs $49 and gives you access to a trapeze challenge as well as a suspended rock wall. You can also test your skills on a suspended tire bridge with this package. The aerial park is only open from April through October each year, so make sure to visit when the weather is still nice.
6. ZipZone Outdoor Adventures
Location: 7925 N High St, Columbus, OH 43235, United States
Columbus, Ohio is 2 hours and 20 minutes from Cleveland, but the drive is worthwhile when it comes to ziplining. ZipZone Outdoor Adventures is a 20-acre adventure park with 5 impressive ziplines. Your tour guides will take you from platform to platform through the dense forest.
There are 4 sky bridges that will test your aerial skills between the ziplines. The Canopy Tour at Zipzone Outdoor Adventures costs $89 per person. If the daytime canopy tours aren’t thrilling enough for you, I recommend checking out the Night Flight Tours package.
The longest zipline on the tour measures nearly 800 feet long, and the shortest platform you will take off from is 50 feet high! ZipZone also has an Adventure Park with 60 unique challenges and five trails to explore.
The Kids Park costs $24 per person and welcomes children between 4 and 7 years old. This includes a small zipline as well as platforms and tight ropes that are safe and low to the ground.

The Augmented Reality Climbing wall is my favorite attraction at the park, and it mixes physicality with technology to create a unique experience for 30 minutes.
CLE Indoor Adventure Park even features an indoor zipline. It’s not quite as thrilling as ziplining through the woods or over a river, but this indoor zipline is a great complement to the other attractions. The “ninja” obstacle courses are a blast and can create a fun competitive edge for you and your friends, or you can compete against yourself.
BOSS Pro-Karting, Axe Throwing, VR Arena
Boss Pro-Kating, Axe Throwing, and VR Arena puts several exciting activities under one roof in Cleveland. The electric go-karts are sleek, modern, and fast.
The track is 1/5 of a mile and it’s lined with bumpers meant to accommodate drivers racing at high speeds. Adults karts can reach speeds up to 50 miles per hour, and they also offer junior karts for children that are slightly slower and age-appropriate. Each racing session lasts 7 minutes which typically entails 15-20 laps.
Race packages start at $22 per person for two races. You must also pay a $6 fee each year for a license to use the go-karts at BOSS Pro-Karting.
The high-end axe throwing lanes are also quite fun, and a 30-minute session costs $18. However, I recommend the 1 ½-hour axe-throwing package for $33!
The Zero Latency at BOSS VR Arena is the ultimate virtual reality experience. You wear a VR headset along with holding VR guns, and you play the best games VR has to offer with your group of friends. It is a wild and exciting futuristic activity you need to try.
Get Air Trampoline Park
Get Air Trampoline Park offers plenty of fun for kids and teens in Cleveland. This sprawling indoor park entails dodgeball, trampolines, a foam pit, and several trampoline-themed games. Older kids and teenagers will love the Club Air at Get Air event each Friday night, which involves jumping to good music with fun lights.
This even goes on each Friday at 8:00 PM, and admission costs $15 for 2 hours and $20 for 3 hours. Standard admission to Get Air Trampoline Park is $15.74 for one hour for kids and teens over 46” tall and $10.19 for an hour for kids under 46”.
