What are Some Related Activities to Do in Aruba?
If you are in Aruba parasailing is only one of the best outdoor excursions you need to try. After traveling to Aruba I recommend you try some of these excursions, they are the best tours for anyone looking for a bit of action and some adrenaline rushing through them.
Aruba Jet Ski Rentals
I own 2 Jet Skis and I still want to rent them out wherever I go. The thrill of cruising in a new environment is one of my favorite things to do. After I rented them in the Bahamas one time, I decided it was a must everywhere else, Aruba was no exception.
Hop on over to Eagle Beach to go for an exciting jet ski adventure with Around Aruba Tours. Escape the crowd and ride solo or double if you have a buddy to share the excitement with.
A driving license is not necessary for this ride, but you must be at least 18 years old to steer the jet ski independently and at least 4 years old to ride as a passenger. The length of the rental and the price correlate, longer rides equal more expensive rental fees.
Aruba Atlantis Submarine Expedition
Aruba’s marine life is famed, and one of the best ways to see it is by submarine! Aruba Atlantis Submarine Expedition is certified by the US Coast Guard so safety is priority. You’ll also be briefed and shown a safety demo before boarding the submarine. Their submarines are spacious and air-conditioned, so it won’t leave you feeling claustrophobic.
With this expedition, you can see the real beauty of the Caribbean Sea and take a closer look at shipwrecks and marine life in the Barcadera Reef. The submarine will dive to depths of 130 ft, and you’ll enjoy a professional narration from the crew. To board, you must be at least 36” tall and 4 years old. The journey lasts for about 1 hour 45 minutes and prices start at $125.
But if you’re after a more affordable underwater tour, there’s also a semi-submarine adventure by De Palm Tours VBA. On this tour, you’ll board a boat with an underwater viewing hull that’s equipped with windows.
You can enjoy views of Arashi Reef and The Antilla, a WWII German shipwreck. There will also be a marine expert onboard who will answer all your questions. The ride lasts for 90 minutes and prices start at $60.
NOTE: If you want the best submarine tour make sure the water is clear and not murky during your visit. The murky waters can make it difficult for you to see the marine life making the tour a little less interesting. Just call ahead to make sure the waters are clear.
Go Snorkeling in Aruba
With its crystal clear water, marine life, and famous shipwrecks, Aruba’s underwater environment is teeming with wildlife, and snorkeling is one of the best ways to see it. You could go to the beaches and hop on a group tour, but you can also check out Octopus Snorkeling Tours, allowing you to skip the crowded boats and make your own itinerary.
The tour welcomes all ages, but infants must sit on laps during boat rides. On this tour, you will board a 26 ft Bayliner boat (a bit bigger than my boat!) and head to Catalina Bay to snorkel in shallow waters and enjoy marine life like angelfish.
Then you’ll go to Malmok Beach, one of Aruba’s best crowd-free snorkeling spots. Prices for this tour start at $140 and it lasts for approximately 2 hours.
Jeep Safari Tours or UTV Tours
Go off-roading with private jeep safari tours, where you’ll be able to enjoy Aruba’s scenic hills and beautiful ocean all at once. There are plenty of options to choose from, but we recommend checking out Elite Jeep Safari which comes with lunch, beer, and an open bar!
The tour is a half-day excursion that lets you make stops at beaches, landmarks, and scenic places. Prices for this tour start at $800 for a group of 4.
Another option is to hop on your own UTV or utility terrain vehicle that Kini Kini Tours offers. The 2-seater allows you to go through the beautiful and rugged sandy terrain, along the rocky coastlines.
There will be local guides leading the group to ensure your safety and give you some insights along the way.
The tour’s pit stops include Alto Vista Chapel, Wariruri Beach, Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, Cave Pool Aruba, and Ayo Rock Formations. It will take you 4 hours to complete the tour and prices start from $100 for 2 adults.
