Looking for a quick injection of adrenaline to jump-start your day? A bungy jump might be just what all you thrill seekers need!

Nothing beats the feeling of free fall as the wind rushes past you and you plunge headfirst into the ground. We are all genetically hot-wired to fear falling, which makes bungy jumping all the more appealing to the daredevils in us. If you, like us, can’t get enough of thrills, this blog post is for you! We’ll go over all the bungy options in Singapore and nearby and other activities you might like.

Are There Any Bungy Jumps in Singapore?

Yep, there sure is! The only “real” bungy is a 47-meter high bungy jump at Skypark Sentosa by AJ Hackett. There is also a reverse bungy ride at Clarke Quay called the Slingshot that shoots you 70 meters into the air.

Skypark Sentosa Bungy by AJ Hackett

Alan John Hackett, commonly known as AJ Hackett, is a New Zealand entrepreneur who significantly popularized and commercialized bungy jumping as a thrilling yet safe recreational activity. Today, his company operates multiple bungy sites worldwide, including the one in Singapore at Sentosa’s Skypark.

You can read more on bungee jumping history in our related post “Where Did Bungee Jumping Originate?” here.

47 meters tall, the jump takes place amidst stunning scenery, and you can even jump in tandem with a friend if you need something to cling onto.

They charge S$129 for a solo jump and $249 for a tandem jump. If you want something a little tamer, the Skypark also has a Giant Swing where you are harnessed in safely and swung at 120 km/hr speeds for 40 meters.

Slingshot Singapore (Reverse Bungee)

If you’re walking around Clarke Quay enjoying the waterfront and suddenly hear blood-curdling screams, you’re probably near the Slingshot. The stomach-churning Slingshot isn’t exactly a bungy, but what it does is shoot you 70 meters into the air at great speed. Your body will experience a force of gravity up to 5Gs during the ride, and is guaranteed to get your heart pounding.

The Slingshot is located in Clarke Quay and is open from 4.30 pm to 11.30 pm. It costs $45 and $35 for students under 18. You’ll have to be at least 1.25 meters tall.

Try the rides both during the day and once more at night for a completely different view and experience!
