Yes, you can bungee jump from the Stratosphere Tower! However, this is not your typical bungee jump, as it’s more of a freefall while attached to a bungee cord. You will be able to jump from the edge of the tower, which sits at around 829 feet off of the ground. Take a look:

In fact, the Stratosphere bungee jump, more popularly known as the Sky Jump, has a few different packages that jumpers can choose from, including the basic and documented journeys. With the basic, you simply pay to jump from the ledge. However, the document gives you a video of your jump so that you can remember your experience forever!
Again, this is more of a controlled freefall, not a bungee jump. While this may not seem as thrilling as bouncing up and down on a bungee cord, it is! This experience allows you to jump from a higher platform and view the Las Vegas strip from high up, and you’re still falling at around 40 miles per hour, so you’re sure to get your adrenaline rush!

The jump at the Stratosphere is a freefall, more than a bungee, and it’s like a zipline ride, except only vertical. Riders will enjoy a controlled fall from the 108th floor and reach the landing zone on the ground.

Other Las Vegas Bungee Jumping Locations:
Circus Circus was as an active place. However, it’s closed down. But I’ve included it below to read about what was once an excellent place for bungee jumping! However, it’s sad to say the only regulated jump is the one on the Stratosphere today.
Circus Circus (Closed)
Circus had a bungee tower that first opened in 1992, and it stood at 21 feet, giving jumpers 171.5 feet of freefall before the cord would snap them back up before they took a dip into the pool below. There were two platforms, the north and the south platforms.
The elevator to the top platform could hold up to 20 people! Everyone would pile into the air-conditioned cage-like structure as they were lifted to the bungee platform. The best part about this jump was that it was right on the infamous Strip, so you’d get to see the pretty lights of Vegas as you were jumping.
This bungee tower was sold to AJ Hackett’s company but then shut down in 2005 after a near accident in which a stuntman almost missed the pool when bungee jumping due to a strong gust of wind. They thought it better to be safe than sorry.
Best Places To Bungee Jump Near Nevada
While there are few places to bungee jump throughout Nevada, there are plenty of locations nearby, such as Utah, Idaho, Arizona, and New Mexico.
There’s a company called Bungee Expeditions that hosts jumps at different bridges throughout Oregon, Idaho, and New Mexico. Some of the bridges they offer bungee jumps on include:
Crooked River Gorge

The Crooked River Gorge is a popular place to bungee jump in Oregon. It’s over 800 miles from Las Vegas, but well worth the adventure! Here, you’ll see some of the most beautiful views of the Pacific Northwest in a unique way that many people don’t get to experience.
The platform for this location is situated 300 feet above the water, allowing jumpers to freefall for 250 feet before being snapped back up!
Perrine Bridge
- Driving Distance from Las Vegas: 499 miles
- Location: Perrine, Idaho
- Bungee Height: 500 feet
- Type of Bungee: Headfirst
Currently, bungee jumping on this bridge is restricted. However, I’m keeping it on this list as there is a lot of potential that the bridge will open back up as the company is actively working on it. However, if it is to open back up again, it will likely only be available to jump from one day per year, with no private group package options.
Hansen Bridge
- Driving Distance from Las Vegas: 503 miles
- Location: Eden, Idaho
- Bungee Height: 400 feet
- Type of Bungee: Headfirst
Another great location to bungee is the Hansen Bridge in Eden, Idaho. It sits at 400 feet and is much smaller than the Perrine Bridge as it’s 100 feet shorter and narrower. However, it does feel a bit higher due to the terrain.
Because of the traffic this bridge expects throughout the summer, there is only a single jump during the summer. This typically occurs early in the morning or late at night when there is a full moon. So, it’s crucial to get ahold of this company to figure out their scheduled jump date so you can be sure to make yourself available.
Rio Grande Bridge

- Location: Taos, New Mexico
- Bungee Height: 565 feet

The Rio Grande Bridge is a popular one that many people travel on, but it’s also a place where people love bungee jumping! The bridge is 565 feet over the river, making it one of the best places to catch a glimpse of New Mexico’s beauty.
This bridge is easy to get to, as it’s an open and active bridge to traffic. There are no significant hikes to this bridge, so the journey to this location is pretty straightforward.
Navajo Bridge – Marble Canyon Bungee Jump

- Location: Marble Canyon, Arizona

The Navajo Bridge at Marble Canyon has a fantastic bungee jump you’ll want to try if you want the ultimate bungee thrill. The drop you get during this bungee is not your standard bungee jump, this is an extreme bungee jump. See for yourself in the video above!
The views you get of the canyon are something you don’t want to miss as you won’t find another bungee location like this. You’ll jump from the Navajo bridge, which sits 467 feet above the canyon floor and you drop for about 150 feet on your bungee cord.

Activities Like Bungee Jumping In or Near Las Vegas
So, as you can see, there are few bungee jumps in Las Vegas or even Nevada together. However, Just because there’s a shortage of bungee spots in the city doesn’t mean it lacks plenty of adrenaline-pumping opportunities!
Whitewater Rafting
What better way to beat the Vegas heat than to go on a whitewater rafting tour? It’s a great way to cool off while you allow the endorphins and adrenaline to flood your bloodstream. While it’s not directly in Vegas, it’s nearby, at the Grand Canyon!

The overall experience begins at 4 in the morning and lasts 15 hours. So, this is not for someone unwilling to go all in!
Ziplining
Get a view of Fremont Street from high up by zipping over it! There are two different packages that Slotzilla offers. One is a 7-story height, ziplining seated, while the other is 11 stories high, and you can fly in a Superman position.
The first option is only two blocks long, while the superhero choice is five blocks long. You’ll spot different restaurants, casinos, and performers that you should check out. Plus, they take a photo of you right at the end that you can purchase after.
Sky Lasertag
These two words may seem confusing at first. Lasertag in and of itself doesn’t produce the type of adrenaline rush that you’re looking for. However, what would you say if I said you could do it in stunt planes?
Don’t believe me; check out this Youtube video! There are several places to do this. However, SCA (Sky Combat Ace) is the best choice. They have North Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and San Diego locations; the pilot will even let you fly the plane.
If laser tag isn’t your thing, that’s fine too! They have other experiences they offer and choose something that’s best for you. They have family-friendly, easygoing choices and options to fly like Top Gun.
Rollercoasters
If you’re a lover of coasters, Vegas has several dotted throughout the Strip. There are coasters like Insanity, Chaos, and the New York Coaster. Some of these even start on the top of larger structures such as the Stratosphere. So, you’re sure to get your preferred dose of adrenaline.

Are There Any New Bungee Jumps Coming To Las Vegas?
No new bungee jumps are coming to Las Vegas, and there is only the Stratosphere, as they closed the Circus Circus location due to the near-accident scare they had with a stuntman.
When bungee jumping over crowds of people (and Vegas is known for its groups), the danger risk increases just from the individual, as bystanders have a higher chance of getting injured. Until Vegas has a good idea for a location for a bungee tower, nothing new is coming to the city for the foreseeable future.
