Yes, Arizona is home to one bungee jump spot at the Navajo Bridge in Marble Canyon. While the jump is 150 feet, the bridge stands 467 feet above the canyon’s depth. Bungee Expeditions operates this jump and releases schedules annually.

Canyoneering
Arizona is the perfect place to go canyoneering between the always nearly ideal weather and the pine forest with waterfalls, rocks, and cliffs throughout it. You’ll get to scale 150 feet or higher out of a canyon and rappel down cliffs, waterfalls, and other rock faces into pooling streams where you can go for a quick swim. It’s a great way to get an adrenaline rush and keep cool in the Arizona heat.
This is a very physical adventure. You can expect to scramble, wade, swim, hike, and rappel through the different terrain. A great place to go through would be 360 Adventures, as they have more permits for the canyons than any other company in the southwestern portion of the United States. Prepare for a 3 to 5-hour trip.
Also, you can choose either a dry or a wet adventure. For the dry, you’ll be rock climbing, rappelling, and hiking. Whereas for the wet adventure, you’ll be hiking, swimming, rappelling, cliff jumping, and much more!
Rock Climbing
Rock climbing is another great adventure in Arizona, as the state is filled with exposed rock. You can find all kinds of stone here, including monzonite, sandstone, limestone, granite, dacite, and more, that are great for holding weight and pulling on.
Several of the best places to go include:
- Granite Mountain
- Paradise Fork
- Flagstaff
- Grand Canyon
- Queen Creek
- Cochise Stronghold
These places are home to all kinds of cracks like tin or wide pockets. You can join in sport climbing, trad or bouldering. Plus, there are crags at almost every elevation. It’s a rock climbers paradise!
Hot Air Ballooning
One often forgotten activity is hot air ballooning. There are several great companies you can book a flight with, like
Arizona is probably one of the most beautiful states, especially with those red rocks. I don’t think I’ve ever stared longer at a bunch of rocks than when I traveled through the state. Imagine doing this from a hot air balloon… I’m going to have to book a trip myself!
Skydiving
Of course, you can’t forget good ‘ol skydiving! There’s no better adrenaline rush than bungee jumping. And Arizona has several great companies to skydive with. Here are some of the best places:
You can’t go wrong choosing any of these. It just depends on the type of terrain you want to see from high up and where you want to land! Each company does tandem jumps, so that’s not an issue for those of you who aren’t certified to jump solo.
Are There Any New Bungees Coming to Arizona?
After spending a decent amount of time looking through various news sites and forums, I can’t find anything that says Arizona is expecting a new bungee jump anytime soon.
However, if I were you, I would keep my eyes open, as it won’t stay this way forever. For now, though, there are plenty of bungee jumps within driving distance. Not to mention, you can check out the other activities as well in the meantime!
