Xtreme H2O is a watersports specialist that also offers jet ski rentals, chartered pontoon boats, cruises, and Waverunner tours to see dolphins. Their parasailing boat “The SkyScraper” is a state-of-the-art vessel with a flawless safety record.
They’ll also shoot high resolution pictures if you want. Their parasailing tours are available in three Destin locations – Destin Harbor, Crab Island, and Marina Cafe.
The tour involves them winching you on 800 feet of rope which puts you 400 feet above the Destin waters.
To parasail with them, kids will have to be at least six so that they can obey instructions. The maximum weight is 500 lbs. They charge $65 for a flight, and $50 if you want to be on the boat as a spectator.
2. Just Chute Me! Parasail Destin

In addition, their boat will only take six fliers, which means less waiting time for you per tour. Other boats are known to take ten or more fliers, meaning more waiting around on the boat.
You can ride single, double, or triple. There is a 450 lb weight limit so you’ll have to pick who you fly with carefully. Prices start at $65. In addition to parasailing, they also offer snorkeling, sailing, dolphin tours, and banana boat rides!
4. Destin Parasailing

Destin Parasailing offers tours in three locations – Harbor, Skywalker, and Crab Island. You’ll have to fly as a duo or trio as they don’t allow solo flights. Gilligan’s Parasailing is located in the harbor, right next to Just Chute Me. The company offers Waverunners, dolphin tours, pontoon boats, and of course, parasailing tours which launch from their own private dock unlike some other companies that might have to use shuttle boats.
You have to weigh between 90 and 450 lbs, but this can change depending on the weather and the captain makes the final call. Those between 6 and 18 need a parental waiver signed. Prices start from $60.
6. Miramar Beach Parasailing

Miramar Beach Parasailing is located behind Pompano Joe’s, Destin. They are a small, family-run business owned by a veteran helicopter pilot. Prices range from $60 to $75 depending on the season, and their $49 photo package can cover up to three flights.
The minimum age to fly is six, and kids under 12 have to be accompanied by an adult. They do not offer solo flights so you’ll have to be at least two people.

Single, double, or triple flights are available and all fliers must be at least six years old. The weight limit is 425 to 450 lbs depending on the weather and wind speed.
9. Wet-N-Wild Watersports

Sun Dogs Parasailing is located in Destin Harbor at AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar on the west end of Destin. Be careful, as there is an old, incorrect address online for Sun Dogs Parasail in Fort Walton Beach. Be sure to head to the one at Destin Harbor.
This company only takes six people on their boats, unlike others that can take up to 12. Rides last 10 to 12 minutes and their line is 1,000 feet, slightly longer than many other operators with 800-foot lines.
Prices are $65 if you pay with cash, $70 with credit card. They also offer a still photo or GoPro package at $35 for two to three fliers. You cannot fly solo and must go with a flying partner. The minimum age is six, and the weight limit per person is 250 lbs while the combined weight must be less than 450 lbs.
Is Parasailing Safe in Destin Florida?
